Claudia H. Bach is a playwright, actor, and director based in Washington, DC.

She has been working in theater for about a decade, after she joined her college’s Shakespeare Society and never looked back.

She always knew she wanted to be a writer, but it wasn’t until she discovered her love of the stage that she found her calling as a playwright. Since 2014, Claudia’s plays have been performed nearly every year in theaters along the US east coast. She specializes in absurdism and LGBTQ+ stories. She graduated with a BA in Religion and English from Wellesley College, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Theological Studies at Wesley Seminary. She lives in Laurel, Maryland with her wife and their tabby cat, Meshach, and their dog, Sampson.
